The Georgetown Public Library will host free monthly meditation classes at 6:30 pm on Thursday May 27. The one hour sessions include three segments: relaxed attention exercises, guided visualization and sustained quiet meditation. Designed for any level of experience, the group encourages patrons to try daily meditation disciplines for which research shows positive correlations to improved health and memory. Classes are facilitated by Lois Dorman, newest staff member of the Georgetown Public Library. For more information, call the library at 856 7958.
