Bridgeville – The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that Norfolk Southern Railroad will close Newton Road/Alternate Route 404 between Route 13 and Adams Road in Bridgeville for railroad crossing improvements. The work will begin on Monday, October 19 and end on Saturday, October 24, weather permitting. The road will be open to emergency vehicles and local residents living within the project area.
Westbound detour: Route 13 to Adams Road and back to Newton Road
Eastbound detour: Adams Road to Route 13 and back to Newton Road
