Dulce Jessica Lopez, the 2010 Miss Hispanic Delaware Queen returns her crown and all responsibilities to the 1st runner up, Miss Stephanie Perdomo at a Nuestras Raices Executive Board meeting held on February 23, 2011. For Personal reasons Miss Dulce Lopez cannot fulfill her duties as the 2010 Miss Hispanic Delaware Queen.

The Miss Hispanic Delaware Pageant has been in existence since 1972 and is organized by Nuestras Raices Delaware, a nonprofit community based organization whose mission is to promote Latino culture in Delaware. The scholarship pageant is designed to promote and support the integrity and professionalism among young Latinas, while enhancing their social, cultural and educational growth. The pageant gives the contestants the opportunity to explore their potential, to display their talents as well as to uphold their Latino heritage.
