On Wednesday, June 6, DMV Director Jennifer Cohan presented Delaware National Guard 1st Sgt Terry Handy with the first Operation Enduring Freedom license plate in a ceremony at the Governor’s Legislative Hall offices.
Sgt. Handy was responsible for encouraging the sponsorship of legislation for the creation of the specialty plate.
The plate was sponsored by legislators Rep. Quinn Johnson, Rep. Earl Jaques and Rep. Gerald Brady.
