Georgetown– The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces the closure of Rum Bridge Road between Rementer Road and Route 18 near Georgetown for the removal and replacement of a crossroad pipe. The road will be closed at 7 a.m. on Monday, May 3. The road will reopen on or before Friday, May 14 at 3 p.m., weather permitting.
Traffic will be detoured as follows:
Northbound: Rum Bridge Road to Old Furnace Road onto Cokesbury Road to Route 18 and back to Rum Bridge Road
Southbound: Rum Bridge Road to Route 18 onto Cokesbury Road to Old Furnace Road and back to Rum Bridge Road
