In the laboratory, scientists readily accept trails in a bubble chamber as clear and undeniable evidence of particles and the forces that change their direction even though they can see neither the particles nor the forces.
Some people claim there is no evidence of God, but what is the unseen force that changes the direction of a life and turns it to one of faith? Certainly there are many people who believe in God just because they were brought up in a family or culture that believes in God.
But how do we explain the non-believer with no religious upbringing who can point to a specific day on which the direction of his life was changed in a way that he can only attribute to God? Should this evidence be any less convincing than the unseen forces at work in a bubble chamber?
Many people “believe” in God, but to believe in possibilities is not true faith, just a philosophy. Belief is a truth held in the mind, but faith goes beyond that to change the course of lives and even human history. And in faith, we find people throughout history drawn beyond the pull of reason and simple belief to an unseen force, as clearly as iron is drawn by magnetism and matter is drawn by gravity. Faith itself is thus an incredible evidence of God, for there is no real reason for it to exist without Him.
If you could see your life from above, would its path be straight and unaffected by God, or would it have passed close enough to God to have been completely turned around by the experience?

En el laboratorio, los científicos aceptan fácilmente los rastros en una cámara de burbujas como evidencia clara e innegable de las partículas y las fuerzas que cambian su dirección aunque no pueden ver las partículas ni las fuerzas.
Algunos afirman que no hay evidencia de Dios, pero ¿qué es esa fuerza invisible que cambia el sentido de la vida y lo convierte a uno a la fe? Ciertamente hay muchas personas que creen en Dios porque fueron criados en una familia o cultura que cree en Dios.
Pero, ¿cómo podemos explicar la reacción del no creyente que carece de educación religiosa y el cual puede señalar un día específico en el que cambió el rumbo de su vida de manera que solo puede atribuirlo a Dios? ¿Debería ser consideradas estas experiencias evidencia menos convincentes que aquellas fuerzas ocultas que trabajan en una cámara de burbujas?
Muchas personas “creen” en Dios, pero creer en las posibilidades no es fe verdadera, más bien es una filosofía. La creencia es una verdad que se guarda en la mente, pero la fe va más allá de eso para cambiar el curso de la vida y la historia humana.
Y en la fe, nos encontramos con personas a lo largo de la historia que fueron atraídas más allá de la fuerza de la razón y por una simple creencia hacia una fuerza invisible, tan claramente como el magnetismo atrae al hierro y la gravedad atrae a la materia. La fe por sí misma es una prueba increíble de (la existencia de) Dios, porque no hay ninguna razón para que exista (la fe) sin Él.
¿Si pudieras ver tu vida desde arriba, notarias un camino recto e inalterado por Dios, o notarias un giro por haber pasado lo suficientemente cerca de Dios que la experiencia cambio todo a tu alrededor?
