"/>Sen. Carper held an information session at Sussex Central High School (Georgetown) to remind students and the public that the Free Application for Federal Student Aid enrollment period is now open.
“Navigating the financial aid process can seem overwhelming, but there are people available to help,” said U.S. Sen. Tom Carper.
“I hope through information seminars like this one taking place right in the schools, students and parents can feel comfortable seeking help from their school counselors, state or federal government web sites.”
This event included a presentation on financial aid by a representative from the Delaware Department of Education’s Office of Higher Education to college-bound seniors.
