DOVER, DE – Retailers, are you pleased with your results this year? Do you need new ideas on how to improve the bottom line? Then join your colleagues for a free program titled “Sustainable Success Strategies for 2009,” set for Tuesday, February 3, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers at Dover City Hall on Loockerman Street.

Nationally known retail expert Margie Johnson, President of Shoptalk, will inspire retailers with tips and techniques for small businesses during her upcoming workshop, the program is free and open to the first 45 registrants who call the Downtown Dover Partnership at 302-678-2940. Refreshments will be served. The program is being co-sponsored by the Downtown Dover Partnership, City of Dover and the Delaware Economic Development Office.

Ms. Johnson has more than 30 years of experience as an owner and entrepreneur in the retail world. Her “customer centered” training sessions and approach to solving business problems have assisted hundreds of clients develop that competitive edge that is so necessary in the business world today. She is a frequently requested retail expert speaker at national conventions, as well as a frequent contributor and writer for regional trade publications.

The Delaware State News will serve as the keynote advertising presenter during the program. Comcast Spotlight and Clipper Magazine will exhibit their marketing-based projects. Other vendor space will be available for media and advertising sales representatives, marketing specialists and advertising specialty suppliers during this seminar.
