Rehoboth Beach, DE – Just in time for Valentine’s Day, The Rehoboth Beach Museum is offering a two-for-one admission. On February 11, 12, 13 and 14, bring friends and loved ones to the museum to see the exhibit “Buckets of Fun: Vintage Sand Pails and other Beach Toys.” The exhibit features sand pails with cartoon characters, circus animals and sea creatures. These are the last few weeks to view this wonderful exhibit, which closes in mid-April. Also on view is the exhibit “Rehoboth Speaks” The Story of the Nation’s Summer Capital.” Come see the engine from the original outdoor train ride at Funland, a replica of the Cape Henlopen Lighthouse, and learn about the real train that ran down the middle of Rehoboth Avenue. Vintage bathing suits and vintage bathing suit advertisements are also on display.
Children can enjoy a space all their own in our learning center with a sandbox table and other toys. Children and adults can also make Victorian Valentine cards and decorate a heart-shaped cookie.
On February 11, 12, 13 and 14, two adults can visit the museum for the single adult admission fee of $5. Children ages 13 to 18 are $3 and children 12 and younger are free.
