"/>This Sunday, August 23, 2009, The Festival Hispano, a Sussex County event entering its 15 th year.
Festival Hispano will run from noon to 6 pm at the Millsboro Little League Complex (W.B. Atkins Park) State Street, Millsboro, Delaware. It is made possible in part by grants from the Delaware Division of the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, Bayhealth Medical Center, Beebe Medical Center, Delaware Physicians Care, Discover Bank, GACHA, Linea de Ayuda de Accidentes, Microtech Designs, Mountaire Farms, Perdue Farms, Sussex County Council, UFCW Local 27 and WSFS Bank.
Organized by El Centro Cultural this year will run featuring music, folklore dancing, assorted of Mexican and Latin American food, a special area for children’s entertainment and activities and public service information that target the Hispanic community.
This is a festival family oriented, and… without alcohol.
Yesterday, when Senator Tom Carper was invited by Hoy en Delaware to our stand at Festival Hispano he said: “I will be there.”
