Pamela Stampp, Managing Immigration Attorney at The Castro Firm, Inc., whose office is located in Wilmington, Delaware, has been invited by Senator Chris Coons to address the United States Senate Judiciary Committee in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, on their deliberations on “Building an Immigration System Worthy of American Values”.
Mrs. Stampp will be offering testimony on “Due Process Challenges Faced by Undocumented Immigrants.” including such issues as the need for court appointed counsel for immigrants facing removal hearings, the need for greater judicial discretion as it relates to granting relief to those before immigration court and revision of the detention policies applied in regards to persons detained for violation of the immigration laws.
