The Freeman Stage’s summer season is complete. The 2020 season was reimagined by their Board and team in mid-June and began in July.
Forty-nine performances later, almost 11,000 patrons enjoyed diverse, memorable arts experiences. 99% of those patrons who responded the survey presented by The Freeman Stage said they felt safe and would return and recommend to The Freeman Stage in the future.
The Freeman Stage was one of the few performing arts venues in the country to successfully (and safely) played host to more than 49 live performances in their open-air venue in Selbyville, DE. They entertained more than 11,000 patrons and gave 212 artists and musicians the chance to take the stage, which for most was the first such opportunity since mid-March. They are still presenting their Arts Explorer’s Young Audience series on Wednesdays through October at 4:30 pm.
The video recap captures this “Special Season of the Arts!”
