The new faces at La Red Health Center

La Red Health Center, (LRHC) is delighted to announce several new members of the clinical staff!

“We are incredibly excited to welcome these highly-skilled practitioners to our LRHC family,” stated Mary Kay Rosolie, Director of Human Resources. “These practitioners will help us continue to integrate our various programs and services as a health center of excellence that provides high-quality, patient-centered medical care to the diverse members of our community.”

Dr. Amudha Boopathi, Pediatrician

Dr. Boopathi holds a M.D. in General Medicine and a Bachelors in Russian Language from Volgograd State Medical University in Volgograd, Russia.

Dr. Boopathi completed her Pediatric residency training at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey and holds a 1-year fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology from the Children’s Hospital at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Boopathi will see patient’s under 18 years of age, and will also see patients that have issues related to pediatric blood and cancer disorders.

Dr.Boopathi is a Board certified Pediatrician and also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Boopathi is a strong advocate for Breastfeeding and has published papers supporting Breastfeeding. She won the Breastfeeding Advocacy and Education award at the 2010 AAP National Conference and Exhibition held at San Francisco, CA.

Dr. Boopathi is also an accomplished presenter and has spoken on subjects such as:
•Barriers to Breastfeeding Reported by Exclusive Formula Feeding Mothers.
•Prenatal Infections and Fetal Complications

Cindy Cunningham, CNS

Cindy is a clinical nurse specialist with extensive clinical, has over thirty-five years of clinical and educational experience.

Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science, Nursing from Delaware State University, a Master of Science, Nursing and M.S. Business-Health Care Administration from Wilmington College, a Post-Masters Psychiatric Nursing CNS from the University of Delaware, and a Post Masters Family Psychiatric NP from Vanderbilt University.

Cindy is certified as a Clinical Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, and is a Nurse Executive from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Cindy is a member of the Delaware Board of Nursing Advanced Practice Committee, the Delaware Nurses Association, and the Delaware Association of Home Care and Staffing. Cindy works out of the Seaford office and sees children ten years of age and older and adults.

Stacey A. Kemp, RNC, WHCNP

Stacey has over twenty years of clinical experience and has been board-certified as a women’s health care nurse practitioner since 1997.

Stacey holds a diploma as a women’s health care nurse practitioner from Emory University and a Master in Science in Nursing with a specialization in community health clinical from Wesley College.

Stacey is seeing women’s health patients at our Georgetown Health Center, and is the Sussex Tech High School Wellness Center Coordinator.

“We are thrilled to welcome so many talented practitioners during this exciting period of growth for LRHC,” said Brian Olson, CEO. “Their collective experience will help us to continue to build a culturally competent, patient-centered medical home to meet the health care needs of the residents and visitors of Sussex County, Delaware.”
