Due to last weekend’s blizzard, The Wellness Community-Delaware has rescheduled it’s Anniversary Celebration to Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 10 am to noon. The event is held every year to thank the community for their support and to celebrate cancer survivorship. This marks four years in their current location, 18947 John J. Williams Highway, Suite 312. in Rehoboth Beach.
A delicious brunch and entertainment will be provided. Guests will include local political and community leaders who have helped make The Wellness Community and its cancer support programs available in Sussex County. More information will be available explaining the exciting new merger forging The Wellness Community and Gilda’s Club into the Cancer Support Community.

The Wellness Community-Delaware, soon to be known as Cancer Support Community, is part of a national nonprofit organization that provides support, education and hope to people with cancer and their loved ones. Through participation in professionally led support groups, educational workshops and mind/body classes, people affected by cancer learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation and restore hope regardless of the stage of disease. At The Wellness Community-Delaware, all programs are free of charge.
