While I was taking a shower, the soap fell from my hands. Astoundingly, it landed upright on its longer side! I’ve only seen a coin do that. It stood like a soldier in attention suggesting the scripture, “And he said unto me, Son of Man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.” (Ezekiel 2:1).
And I recalled Jesus asking his disciples to get a coin from the mouth of a fish. (Matthew 17:27) A coin has two sides, and it cannot stand except by the narrow circular section that connects them. Likewise, we cannot stand except by the narrow way in Christ that connects us to the Father.
Next, I remembered what I heard the Spirit say one day, “cursed is the man who confirms himself in error for he caravans with the unwise and sits in the pool of foolishness bathing in its waters. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Get off the throne. The King of kings is coming.”
When I shared that word of knowledge with my friend in Canada, she confirmed it by what she shared in return. She had been reading the writings of Emanuel Swedenborg and this jump at her: “…They who have confirmed themselves in falsity are no longer in any freedom to choose and receive truth…”
Lastly, I was reminded of the vision I was given: “A man pointing to his nostril and saying, ‘smell the goodness of the LORD; see the severity of man,’” As I pondered everything, I saw that indeed people can be cruel. But it happens, especially, when they embrace falsehood. Defiantly, they cling to lawlessness! Undeniably certain fixations can drive people to dive into the ‘pool of foolishness’ causing them to lose their bearings.
It pains me to see us as a country fit the description in Haggai 2:3, “Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? And how do you see it now? Is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?”
We are meant to be a city on a hill, a beacon of hope. But we have become our own worst enemy! For many who claim to be led by God malign His Name by their actions. Whether in ignorance or on purpose, they promote hate and division in this ‘house.’ “And if a house be divided against itself that house cannot stand.” Mark 3:25
If truly we are in Christ, LOVE will be visible. Jesus declares as evidence, “By this all will know that you are MY disciples if you have love for one another.” (John 13:35) It’s time to clean up our act. Let’s pause to reflect “…in the light of the King’s countenance…” (Proverb 16:15) And may God allow us to be brave to stand together with liberty and justice for all.

Mientras me duchaba, el jabón cayó de mis manos. ¡Sorprendentemente, quedó recto sobre su lado largo! Solo he visto una moneda caer de esa manera. Parecía un soldado levantado sugiriendo la Escritura: “Y me dijo: Hijo del Hombre, ponte sobre tus pies, y te hablaré”. (Ezekiel 2:1).
Y recordé cuando Jesús les pidió a sus discípulos que sacaran una moneda de la boca de un pez. (Mateo 17:27) Una moneda tiene dos caras, y no puede sostenerse excepto por la estrecha sección radial que las conecta. Del mismo modo, no podemos sostenernos excepto por la senda estrecha-Cristo- que nos conecta al Padre.
Entonces, recordé lo que el Espíritu me dijo un día: “ Nocivo es el hombre que se confirma a sí mismo en el error porque se une a la caravana de los imprudentes y se sienta en el estanque de la necedad bañándose en sus aguas. Es más fácil para un camello pasar por el ojo de una aguja que para un hombre rico entrar en el reino de los cielos. Bájate del trono, viene el Rey de los reyes.”
Cuando compartí esa palabra de conocimiento con mi amiga en Canadá, ella lo confirmó en lo que compartió a cambio. Ella había estado leyendo los escritos de Emanuel Swedenborg y esto le llamo la atención: “… Los que se han confirmado en la falsedad ya no tienen ninguna libertad para elegir y recibir la verdad…”
Por último, recordé una visión que se me dio: “Un hombre señalando su fosa nasal y diciendo: ” Aspira la bondad del Señor; nota la severidad del hombre,” Mientras reflexionaba, vi que, verdaderamente, las personas pueden ser crueles. Pero, esto sucede cuando acogen la falsedad. ¡Desafiantemente se aferran a la anarquía! Innegablemente, ciertas fijaciones pueden llevar a las personas a lanzarse en el “charco de las presunciones,” lo que causa que muchos pierdan su rumbo.
Me apena ver que la escritura en Hageo 2:3 nos puede describir, “¿Quién queda entre ustedes que vio esta casa en su primera gloria? ¿Y cómo lo ves ahora? ¿No está en tus ojos en comparación con eso como nada?”
Estamos destinados a ser una ciudad en una colina, un faro de esperanza. ¡Pero nos hemos convertido en nuestros peores enemigos! Pues muchos que afirman ser guiados por Dios difaman Su Nombre a través de sus acciones. Ya sea en la ignorancia o a propósito, promueven el odio y la división en esta “casa.” “Y si una casa está dividida contra sí misma, tal casa no puede permanecer.” Marcos 3:25
Si verdaderamente estamos en Cristo, el AMOR será visible. Jesús declara la evidencia: “Por esto todos sabrán que sois MIS discípulos si os amáis los unos a los otros”. (Juan 13:35) Es hora de hacer las cosas bien. Pausemos para reflexionar “… a la luz del semblante del Rey…” (Proverbio 16:15) Y que Dios permita que seamos valientes para permanecer juntos con libertad y justicia para todos.
