Georgetown, DE – The Town of Georgetown announced this morning that it will be collecting limbs, branches, and other storm related debris stating immediately. This collection will continue through Friday, September 2, 2011.
Residents are requested to ensure all sticks, branches, tree trimmings and the like are securely tied together in bundles. It is also requested that bundles not exceed four feet in length, 36 inches in diameter or 50 pounds in weight.
Public Works employees with be travelling throughout the Town over the next few days collecting the debris. To help expedite the collection, residents are asked to place the items to be picked up along the curb.
