The True Blue Jazz Festival returns for its 6th anniversary year from October 10 to 14 in downtown Rehoboth Beach.
True Blue Jazz is focused on “straight-ahead” or “mainstream” Jazz, largely featuring songs of the Great American Standards Songbook from 1900 to present day.
From the birth of the Blues and Dixieland Jazz to the popular tunes that became the soundtrack of America, TBJAZZ features innovative interpretation and musical improvisation of these songs arising from American stage plays, radio, television, recording artists and feature films from across this time period.
This year’s festival features 25 events over five days and nights in a dozen downtown Rehoboth Beach venues.
Brand new in 2018 is the Jazz Iz Art Expo Center, located in the Community Room of CAMP REHOBOTH at 37 Baltimore Avenue which features Jazz documentaries, canvas art and still photography. For ticketed and free events schedule visit www.truebluejazz.org
