West Side Story coming to The DuPont Theatre

Wilmington, DE – The DuPont TheatreSM, the tri-state area’s premiere stop for Broadway national touring companies, and Delaware All-State TheatreSM announce a free sneak preview of the upcoming production of the classic Broadway musical WEST SIDE STORY. Cast members will be performing, during the Farmer’s Market on Rodney Square, on Wednesday, June 10 at 12:30 PM.

WEST SIDE STORY is the second annual production of Delaware All-State Theatresm, a division of J. Alexander Productions. Sixty kids and teens chosen in a rigorous audition process represent over thirty-five different middle and high schools from the surrounding area, performing at the world-famous DuPont Theatre this June. The cast includes Kevin Shotwell of A.I. du Pont High School, who will be leaving Delaware soon to appear in the new Broadway production of “Bye, Bye Birdie”.

WEST SIDE STORY will be staged at the DuPont Theatre in Wilmington, Delaware on Friday & Saturday June 19 & 20 at 8 PM, Sunday, June 21 at 2 PM, and Friday & Saturday June 26 & 27 at 8 PM, Sunday, June 28 at 2 PM. Tickets range from $15-$40.
