A while back, I was reading the account of the woman who builds a room for the Prophet Elisha; it is an Old Testament account in 2 Kings 4:10.
The Holy Spirit described her as a notable woman. I had asked the Lord to show me the significance of the account and of the items she put in the room once it was completed.
the sweet savory aroma in which you delight;
A CHAIR: May YOU find in my heart a chair, the seat of my mind and will, opened and available to YOU; A chair as the throne of my being that belongs to you alone my one and only True King and Lord;
A LAMP-STAND: May I continue to allow you to be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. May I, in turn, be a vessel of light in the dark places bringing healing in the wings of love to all who call on your Name.
This revelation confirmed again that we are created for fellowship with God; it is about a state of being in the world but not of the world. At our invitation He comes to do His will on earth as it is in heaven. In this way we learn that we are the house on earth that He builds into a mansion in heaven as we ascend in the glory of His Name.
Would you make a room for God? Would you be like the notable woman? Then open the door of your heart for He brings healing in His hands for you today. May we together be pure oil of pressed olives for the light to cause the lamp to burn continually in the world.
Hace un tiempo atrás estuve leyendo el recuento de la mujer que mandó a hacer una habitación para el Profeta Eliseo; se encuentra en el Antiguo Testamento en segunda de Reyes 4:10.
El Espíritu Santo describe a la mujer como una persona importante. Le había pedido al Señor que me enseñara el significado del recuento y de los artículos que puso ella en la habitación una vez terminado el proyecto. Fue entonces que ví los personajes y lo que representaban. Eliseo representa a Cristo y la mujer representa el alma de una persona. Noté los artículos que pone en la habitación: una cama, una mesa, una silla, y una lámpara. El Señor reveló cada artículo en la forma de una oración, una oración que yo, y todo aquel que busca hacer su voluntad, debería orar para invitarlo cuando toca a la puerta de nuestro corazón.
UNA CAMA: Que encuentres Señor una cama, un lugar en mi ser interior, para descansar mientras me acuesto a tu lado para aprender tu voluntad para mi vida.
UNA MESA: Que encuentres Señor alimento en mi mesa cuando te ofrezca el sacrificio de alabanza y gratitud que es sangre (mi alma) y grasa (mis deseos). Estos sacrificios subirán hacia Tí como aroma y sabor dulce que te deleitará.
UNA SILLA: Que encuentres Señor silla en mi corazón, que es el asiento de mi mente y mi voluntad, abierto y disponible para Ti. Una silla, como trono de mi ser para mi Dios Único Rey y Señor verdadero.
UNA LÁMPARA: Que continúe yo permitiendo que seas la lámpara para mis pies y una luz en mi camino. Que yo, en cambio, sea una vasija de luz en la oscuridad trayendo sanación en las alas del amor a todo aquel que clama a Tí.
Esta revelación confirmó nuevamente que hemos sido creados para tener comunión con Dios; se trata de un estado de ser en el mundo pero no del mundo. Por nuestra invitación, El viene a hacer su voluntad en la tierra como en el cielo. Así aprendemos que somos la casa en la tierra que El convierte en una mansión en el cielo mientras ascendemos en la gloria de su nombre.
¿Harías una habitación para Dios? ¿Serías como la mujer importante? Entonces abre las puertas de tu corazón a Cristo que trae sanidad en sus manos para tí hoy. ¡Que juntos podamos ser de las aceitunas apretadas aceite puro para luz que cause que la lámpara alumbre continuamente en el mundo!
