Sussex Academy students also enrolled in the McAleer-Paulson School of Irish Dance brought a wee bit of Irish cheer to the elementary school March 13 in advance of St. Patrick’s Day.

The annual tradition of hosting the school’s Irish dancers began about six years ago, when six dancers graced the stage. This year, 11 Sussex Academy McAleer-Paulson dancers ranging in age from elementary to high school entertained students and staff.

Sussex Academy is a tuition-free, public charter K-12 school in Georgetown, Del. Its mission is to create a supportive school environment with accelerated learning opportunities that prepare students to explore, experience and excel.
