Cape May-Lewes Ferry Fireworks Cruise

Friday, July 3, 2015
5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Admission: $30/adult; $15/child (under age 12 including infants)
Catch a spectacular fireworks display from the Cape May-Lewes Ferry. Aboard the ferry, you will get perfect view of this year’s fireworks extravaganza.  The cruise departs Lewes at 7:15 p.m. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 800-643-3779.

Lewes’ Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration

9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Admission: Free
The City of Lewes continues its long tradition of hosting old-fashioned games for children and the Lewes Fourth of July Boat Parade, which will wind down the Lewes – Rehoboth canal to Fisherman’s Wharf. As part of the holiday festivities, there will also be the Doo-Dah Parade. The day is full of fun and exciting things to do for the whole family! (Please note there are no fireworks at this celebration).

Dover 4th of July – A Celebration of Independence in the Capital of the First State

Events from 9:00 a.m. – dusk
Fireworks at 9:20 p.m.
Historic tours, food & more take place in historic Dover on July 4th, including an outdoor concert packed with patriotic tunes on Legislative Mall. Fireworks will blast off above Legislative Hall at dusk.

Independence Day Celebration at Bethany Beach

Parade: 12:00 p.m. -2:00 p.m.; Fireworks at dusk
Admission: Free
Enjoy an old fashioned 4th of July parade with floats, bikes and marching bands. Plus, live entertainment at the bandstand and fireworks at dusk.

4th of July Celebration at the Wilmington Riverfront

2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Admission: Free
Celebrate the 2015 July 4th Celebration on the Riverfront in Tubman-Garrett Park. Beginning at 2:00 p.m., the festivities will include rides, games, and a 50-foot obstacle course. Plus, fireworks at dusk! There will also be historical reenactments and a crab feast.

Independence Day Celebrations in Laurel

Parade 5:00 p.m.; Fireworks 9:00 p.m.
Admission: Free
Enjoy 4th of July festivities with a parade; the Mayor’s Cornhole Contest; face painting; and a pie-eating contest at Market Square Park. Wrap up the day with a fantastic fireworks display at dusk.

4th of July Fireworks in Newark
July 4, 2015
6:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Admission: Free
The annual Independence Day celebration will feature live entertainment, food, arts and crafts, and games at UD’s Athletic Complex on South Avenue. The fireworks will start between 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Fireworks Express – Wilmington & Western Railroad

Admission: Adult: $20; Senior: $19; Children: $16; Children Under 2: FREE
Board the Wilmington & Western Railroad’s Fireworks Express to a festive display in Hockessin. Passengers are welcome to bring coolers, blankets and folding chairs aboard. Please allow 4 hours for the train ride and fireworks show. Reservations are required.

Dewey Beach July 4th Fireworks

Admission: Free
Grab a lawn chair or a beach blanket and watch a dazzling fireworks display. Fireworks will be set off from a barge in the bay and will be visible from any bar or restaurant along the bayside in Dewey.

Celebrate Independence Day in Rehoboth Beach! A spectacular fireworks display will be launched from the beach and it will be visible up and down the boardwalk. Enjoy live entertainment at the Rehoboth Beach bandstand before and after the fireworks.
