Delaware Electric Co-op (DEC) officials have issued an urgent warning.
Some DEC members report recently receiving calls from someone claiming to be a Co-op employee who was contacting them to discuss “supply charges.” Additionally, other members say someone claiming to work for DEC – wearing a professional-looking work vest – approached them at their homes asking for their account information to “help them lower their supply charges.”
Co-op officials are cautioning members that neither of these types of contacts are legitimate and are in no way connected to DEC.
