La Plaza Delaware joined the Georgetown community in celebrating the ribbon-cutting of Al Toque Delicias Latinas, a food truck owned by Cleyman Angel, a recent graduate of our Milford business class. This Latino-owned venture launched with a menu full of authentic Latin flavors —offering delicious birria tacos, burritos, fried chicken, pupusas, and more.
To mark the occasion, special discounts and a launch menu were offered to attendees. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, facilitated by La Plaza Delaware, highlighted Angel’s entrepreneurial journey and underscored our commitment to supporting Latino-owned businesses in Delaware.
La Plaza Delaware is a nonprofit partnership created to increase opportunities, business savvy, and prosperity for Latino and minority-owned businesses.
Al Toque Delicias Latinas is a proud member of ¡DALE! (Delaware Alliance of Latino Entrepreneurs), a network of local Latino-owned and -operated businesses. ¡DALE! members benefit from an online business directory, networking events, and free participation in business workshops.
The event was held on June 7th in front of Sports at the Beach Complex (22495 Lewes Georgetown Highway, Georgetown, DE).
