In an effort to expand their impact and reach more vulnerable youth and adolescents in the United States (starting in Florida), both organizations are joining forces for the common good.

Miami, FL – Ismael Cala Foundation and Acevedo Foundation have announced a strategic partnership that will allow them to increase their impact and reach over a thousand vulnerable young people and adolescents initially in the state of Florida. Through this partnership, a total of five educational centers will benefit from the training of 30 facilitators in leadership and emotional intelligence.
Convinced of the need to work together for the common good and the highest purpose, both organizations will join efforts and intentions for a better-prepared world in educational topics focusing on leadership and emotional intelligence.
The training model for youth with emotional intelligence tools in this partnership is based on the training of trainers. The first phase of the program implementation will focus on training 30 trainers by the end of this year, who will be responsible for delivering the program to the five educational centers in Florida, with 200 students each.
As the first fundraising activity, both organizations are preparing for the Legacy of Light Gala to be held in the city of Miami on the upcoming September 7, which will feature Puerto Rican singer Olga Tañón.
Jenisbel Acevedo, president of the Acevedo Foundation, stated, “For us, it’s important to give back a little of what we have received. So many people have trusted their health to us and have helped us grow our business, La Colonia Medical Center! This has enabled us to become the medical institution we are today. If I can, with my resources generated by this business (which has given us so much happiness and satisfaction), bring a little joy to those in need, how can I not do it?”
For his part, communicator and life strategist Ismael Cala said, “This is a powerful alliance. We are here more than blessed; to leave a mark, a legacy by joining forces because together we are more. Thanks to this union of wills, we will do good for many children, young people, mothers, fathers, in short, vulnerable people through the realization of this shared dream.”
To date, the Ismael Cala Foundation has trained 161 trainers and benefited more than 3,000 children in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Colombia, the United States, and Venezuela.

Más de 1.000 adolescentes de la Florida aprenderán sobre inteligencia emocional gracias a la alianza entre Ismael Cala Foundation y Acevedo Foundation

Ismael Cala Foundation y Acevedo Foundation anunciaron una alianza estratégica que les permitirá multiplicar su impacto y llegar a más de mil jóvenes y adolescentes vulnerables inicialmente en el estado de la Florida. Con esta alianza se beneficiarán un total de 5 centros educativos a través de la formación de 30 facilitadores en liderazgo e inteligencia emocional.
Convencidos de la necesidad de trabajar mancomunadamente en el bien común y el más alto fin, ambas organizaciones unirán esfuerzos e intenciones en pro de un mundo mejor preparado en temas educativos con enfoque en liderazgo e inteligencia emocional.
El modelo de formación para jóvenes con herramientas de inteligencia emocional de esta alianza está fundamentado en la capacitación de formadores. La primera fase de ejecución del programa estará centrada en entrenar a 30 formadores para finales de este año quienes serán los responsables de llevar el programa a los cinco centros educativos de Florida, a razón de 200 alumnos cada uno.
Como primera actividad de recaudación de fondos, ambas organizaciones se preparan para la Gala Legacy of Light a realizarse en la ciudad de Miami el venidero 07 de septiembre que contará con la presencia de la cantante puertorriqueña Olga Tañón.
En palabras de Jenisbel Acevedo, presidente de la Acevedo Foundation “para nosotros es importante retribuir un poco de lo que hemos recibido. ¡Cuántas personas han confiado su salud y nos han ayudado a crecer en nuestra empresa La Colonia Medical Center! Esto nos ha ayudado a lograr ser la institución médica que somos hoy en día. Si yo puedo con mis recursos que me genera ese negocio (el cual nos ha dado tanta felicidad y satisfacción) darles un poquito de alegría a personas necesitadas. ¿Cómo no voy a hacerlo?”
Por su parte, el comunicador y estratega de vida, Ismael Cala indicó: “Se trata de una alianza poderosa. Estamos aquí más que bendecidos; para dejar una huella, un legado, sumando voluntades, porque juntos somos más. Gracias a esta unión de voluntades, haremos el bien a muchos a muchos niños, jóvenes, madres, padres, en fin, personas vulnerables a través de la cristalización de este sueño compartido”.
