(Georgetown, DE) On March 7, Sussex Technical High School students, Violet Giordano, Aimee Valesquez-Garcia, Alondra Lopez-Juarez, and Areli Garcia-Quinones, participated in the Sussex County Science Fair.
Aimee Valesquez-Garcia and Alondra Lopez-Juarez won a special award from the Delaware BioTechnical Institute. Valesquez-Garcia also received an honorable mention for a project on fruit flies, while Lopez-Juarez took first place or her work with C Elegans.
Sussex Technical High School is a public school which prepares Sussex County, DE students for their future success in workforce environments, higher education, and military.
