The ACLU of Delaware and Delaware State Education Association invites you to join them for an upcoming lobby day at Legislative Hall on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
They say that this is an opportunity for advocates, community members and leaders to come together to make their voices heard to support HS 1 for HB 94.
ACLU explains that this critical legislation limits state law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration enforcement at sensitive locations including schools/daycares, medical facilities and places of worship without a valid judicial warrant or court order.
They consider everyone deserves to feel safe in their community, regardless of immigration status. In a time where immigrants are attacked by national officials and the media, they should be able to feel safe in these vital community spaces.
This event brings together participants and policymakers to share personal stories, highlight our mission to keep our communities safe and advocate for meaningful change.
Lobby day will start at 9:00 AM with a training at Christ Episcopal Church. Then, participants will travel together to Legislative Hall. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided during the training.

One little update – the morning training will take place at Christ Episcopal Church and then they’ll head over to Leg. Hall around 10:00 for the rest of the day. Additionally, the church has parking and they are free to use the lot of the duration of their lobby day.
Below is the initial message they sent
