More than 12,000 Delawareans participated in school board races statewide, only slightly below last year’s record turnout of more than 15,500 voters.
School board members oversee budgets, student outcomes, district priorities, and community trust and their decisions impact students, families, educators, and communities every day, and every conversation, vote, and act of involvement helps strengthen those outcomes.
For First State Educate “the sustained participation reflects growing public engagement in school board governance and increasing recognition of the role these boards play in shaping public education, workforce readiness, and the long-term strength of Delaware communities”.
