Georgetown, DE — The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce invites community members to attend an upcoming Town Council Candidate Forum featuring candidates for Mayor and Town Council. The forum will take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, May 4th at Georgetown Town Hall
This important community event will provide an opportunity for residents and business owners to hear directly from candidates on key issues impacting Georgetown’s future.
Topics to be addressed include:
- Homelessness, public safety, and quality of life
- Community unity and leadership
- Business development and economic growth
- Downtown revitalization
- Inclusion and engagement across Georgetown’s diverse population
- Transparency and accountability in local government
“The goal of this forum is to create a respectful, solutions-focused conversation that helps inform voters and strengthen our community,” said Linda Price, Georgetown Chamber President/CEO.
The forum will include candidate introductions, moderated discussion, a lightning round, audience Q&A, and closing statements. Questions will focus on real challenges facing Georgetown while encouraging candidates to share actionable solutions.
