(Georgetown) Earlier this month, Sussex Technical High School JROTC cadet, Esteban Gonzalez-Chan successfully completed The Academy Introduction Mission (AIM) at the Coast Guard Academy, New London, Connecticut.
The intense and rewarding six day Academy is designed to help cadets discover whether the Academy experience is what they want from college and whether they have the skills to succeed.
“The rigorous summer AIM program is for high school juniors and is designed to prove them with a six-day structured program to give them a taste of cadet life,” said Guy Rush, Sussex Technical High School Coast Guard JROTC Instructor.
Sussex Technical High School is a public school which prepares Sussex County, DE students for their future success in workforce environments, higher education, and military.
