Bethany Beach, DE — The Indian River High School Class of 1987 Alumni Fund will host a Dine & Donate fundraiser on Friday, April 24 from 3:00 p.m. until closing at FINS Ale House & Raw Bar, 33544 Market Place, Bethany Beach.
The event offers a simple and meaningful way to support local students, as 20 percent of all dinner proceeds will benefit the Class of ’87 Alumni Scholarship Fund, helping a graduating IRHS senior take the next step toward their future.
This scholarship is designed to recognize more than academic success. It highlights students who demonstrate school spirit, resilience and a commitment to giving back to others while also acknowledging the financial realities many families face, including supporting more than one child through college at the same time.
By bringing the community together in a relaxed and welcoming setting, the event reflects the spirit of the scholarship itself—neighbors supporting neighbors and investing in the next generation.
The Class of ’87 Alumni Fund extends its appreciation to FINS Hospitality Group for its generosity and commitment to giving back to the Sussex County community.
The IRHS Class of ’87 Alumni Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible
Those unable to attend can still participate by making a tax-deductible donation by texting Classof87 to 53555, scanning the event QR code, or donating via Venmo to @Devi-Enerio-Ellant with funds going directly to the scholarship’s Artisan Bank account.
