All Locations Open to the Community for Free on June 19th

Wilmington, Delaware – The YMCA of Delaware invites individuals and families across the state to celebrate freedom, unity, and progress during its statewide Juneteenth Celebration. On Friday, June 19th, all YMCA of Delaware locations will be open to the community at no cost (excludes outdoor pools), with special activities and events designed to honor this historic day.

At the Y, we believe Juneteenth is a time to remember and act. We celebrate this powerful moment in our nation’s history and honor the enslaved individuals who endured unimaginable hardship. As we reflect, we also encourage our neighbors to join us in taking social responsibility in our communities. Together, we can be the change and create a brighter future for ourselves, our youth, and one another.
