This Mother’s Day, the International WeLoveU Foundation was bringing together community members and local leaders at Bellevue State Park for a special tree planting event honoring mothers while promoting environmental stewardship.
Local volunteers joined by their mothers for this meaningful activity, alongside State Representative Sophie Phillips, Miss Delaware and Miss Delaware’s Teen, who attended in support of the initiative.
The event was hosted in partnership with the Intl. WeLoveU Foundation and Delaware National Recreation and Parks. It was part of WeLoveU’s environmental campaign, Mom’s Garden Project, which aims to plant one million trees by 2026 in pursuit of carbon neutrality and a greener planet.
This gathering offered an opportunity to celebrate motherhood, give back to the environment, and create lasting memories through community action.

Este Día de la Madre, la Fundación Internacional WeLoveU reunió a miembros de la comunidad y líderes locales en el Parque Estatal Bellevue para un evento especial de plantación de árboles, honrando a las madres y promoviendo, al mismo tiempo, la protección del medio ambiente.
Voluntarios locales, acompañados por sus madres, participaron en esta significativa actividad junto a la Representante Estatal Sophie Phillips, Miss Delaware y Miss Delaware’s Teen, quienes asistieron para brindar su apoyo a la iniciativa.
El evento fue organizado en colaboración entre la Fundación Internacional WeLoveU y el Departamento de Recreación y Parques de Delaware. Formó parte de la campaña medioambiental de WeLoveU, el “Mom’s Garden Project” (Proyecto Jardín de Mamá), cuyo objetivo es plantar un millón de árboles para el año 2026, en busca de la neutralidad de carbono y un planeta más verde.
Este encuentro ofreció la oportunidad de celebrar la maternidad, retribuir al medio ambiente y crear recuerdos perdurables a través de la acción comunitaria.
