The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Thursday night in the Fishhook Mobile Home Park in Georgetown.
On September 24, 2026, at approximately 9:30 p.m., troopers responded to Helen Street, in the Fishhook Mobile Home Park in Georgetown, for the report of a robbery. When troopers arrived, they learned that two unknown black male suspects approached a 78-year-old woman as she was getting out of her car at her residence. The suspects pushed her, stole her purse, then fled. The victim was not injured.
The suspects are described as unknown black males, wearing dark clothing, and one of them was wearing a mask.
Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this incident. Anyone with information relevant to the investigation is asked to contact Detective R. Horton at (302) 752-3807. Information may also be provided by sending a private Facebook message to the Delaware State Police or contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.

La Policía Estatal de Delaware investiga un robo ocurrido la noche del jueves en el parque de casas móviles Fishhook, en Georgetown.
El 24 de septiembre de 2026, aproximadamente a las 9:30 p. m., agentes acudieron a la calle Helen, dentro del parque de casas móviles Fishhook en Georgetown, tras recibir un reporte de robo.
Al llegar, se informó a los agentes que dos sospechosos –hombres de raza negra no identificados– se acercaron a una mujer de 78 años mientras ella salía de su vehículo en su domicilio.
Los sospechosos la empujaron, le robaron el bolso y huyeron. La víctima no sufrió lesiones.
Se describe a los sospechosos como hombres de raza negra no identificados que vestían ropa oscura; uno de ellos llevaba una máscara.
La Unidad de Investigaciones Criminales de la Tropa 4 de la Policía Estatal de Delaware continúa investigando este incidente.
