The Georgetown Public Library will hold its Caterpillars’ Story Time for ages 0-4 at 10:30 am every Tuesday morning with Miss Sherri. For more information please call the library at 302 856 7958.

The Georgetown Public Library Friend’s Book discussion will meet Wednesday September 14 at 10:15 am in the Library meeting room. This month discussion will be on The Zoo Keeper’s Wife: A War Story by Diane Ackerman.

The Georgetown Public Library’s Knitting Class is offered every Monday from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm. All interested individuals are invited to join. For more information or to gain a supply list for this class please call the library at 856 7958

The Georgetown Public Library is offering “Healing, Mind, Body, Spirit a One Hour Meditation” on Wednesday September 7 @1:30 pm this meditation session will use relaxed attention exercises, guided visualization and sustained quiet time. It is offered on the first Wednesday of every month in the meeting room. For more information please call the Lois at the library 856-7958.

The Georgetown Public Library will be offering an Introduction to Computers Class running 4 consecutive Wednesdays starting August 10 from 1:30 – 3:00. The topics that will be covered are Basic Introduction to Computers; Web Browsing; E-mail Introduction and Searching the web & Assisted Practice. Registration is required you can do so at the circulation desk or by calling the library at 856 7958.

The Delaware Money School and The Georgetown Public Library will be offering a program called “Job Changes & Your Retirement Assets” on Thursday August 25 from 6 – 7:30 pm. This program is presented by Jeff H. MacDonald, Investment Management & Planning, LLC. This program is open to the public but registration is required for more information or to register for this program go to http://www.delawaremoneyschool.com.

The Georgetown Public Library homeschool program begins again on September 14 @ 2 pm. The Delaware Aerospace Education Foundation will be here presenting “Things That Move” a science and technology program. This program is open to all interested people. There will be a Home school Club meeting twice a month from Sept. – May on the second Wednesday and the last Wednesday of each month at 2pm starting September 14.
The second Wednesdays will be various activities each month such as genealogy, science, scrapbooking, games, crafts and other activities.
The last Wednesdays of the month are a “Recent Reads Book Discussion”. In this type of book discussion, you bring in the book(s) you are currently reading or have ‘recently’ read and tell each of us about it. This is a way to introduce more books to each other and new ideas of what to read.
The ages for the Home school Club are 5-17. We will meet in the Kids Room on the first floor of the Georgetown Public Library. For more information or to sign up, contact Ms. Sherri at 856-7958.

There will be an After-school Club meeting twice a month from Sept. – May on the first and third Friday of each month at 3:30pm starting September 16.
The first Friday of the month will be various activities each month such as genealogy, science, scrapbooking, games, crafts and other activities.
The third Friday of the month is a “Recent Reads Book Discussion”. In this type of book discussion, you bring in the book(s) you are currently reading or have ‘recently’ read and tell each of us about it. This is a way to introduce more books to each other and new ideas of what to read.
The ages for the After-school Club are 6-17. The book discussion group may be divided into two age groups depending on the amount in the group. We will meet in the Kids Room on the first floor of the Georgetown Public Library. For more information or to sign up, contact Ms. Sherri at 856-7958.

On Tuesday, September 13th @ 10:30 am the Story Time Program will be hosting a puppet show “Peter Rabbit’s Adventures in Farmer McGregor’s Garden”. Come out and enjoy the show and find out what Peter does in the garden and to Farmer McGregor.
