Dover, Delaware — The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition (DBCC) will host its signature fundraising event, the Lights of Life Gala, with this year’s “Diamonds & Denim” theme, on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Bally’s Dover Casino Resort. The annual gala brings together community members, advocates, and supporters for an unforgettable evening celebrating survivorship, honoring lives lost, and raising critical funds to support individuals and families affected by breast cancer in Delaware.
DBCC’s Lights of Life Gala is a celebration of life and giving, made possible through the generosity of the Delaware community. Proceeds from the event will directly support DBCC’s survivorship support and education programs, which provide vital services to those impacted by breast cancer across the state.
Sponsorships packages are available until February 7, 2026. Sponsoring the gala is the perfect way to highlight your business and support a great cause! Interested businesses and individuals can purchase a sponsorship online or reach out to Lauren Balcerak at Lbalcerak@debreastcancer.org for more information about sponsorship opportunities.
Funds raised will sustain essential programs including survivorship support groups, outreach education, transportation assistance, interpretation services, and other resources that offer hope, healing, and dignity to patients and survivors. Community support is vital in ensuring these life-changing services remain accessible to those who need them most.
The evening will feature exciting live and silent auctions showcasing dazzling items such as luxury getaways, sparkling jewelry, sports experiences, fine dining opportunities, and more, each generously donated by local businesses and community partners. Donors will have the opportunity to elevate their brand while making a meaningful impact on the lives of Delaware residents affected by breast cancer. Anyone interested in donating to the auction should contact Michelle at Mmarshall@debreastcancer.org.
A sparkling highlight of this year’s gala is the Diamond Pull experience. Guests may purchase a numbered glass of champagne for a chance to win a real diamond valued at $800. One winning number will be announced during the evening, and the corresponding guest will be able to pick up the diamond at the conclusion of the event.
Guests are encouraged to embrace the event’s cocktail attire with a Diamonds & Denim flair. Dust off your boots and show off your sparkle! Seating will be assigned in advance; guests wishing to sit with friends or other registrants are encouraged to email Lauren Balcerak at Lbalcerak@debreastcancer.org as early as possible.
For the safety of all attendees, neither firearms, firearm paraphernalia, nor any items resembling firearms will be permitted inside Bally’s facility.
DBCC invites the community to come together for an evening of generosity, hope, and strength, celebrating survivorship and standing united against breast cancer. Purchase tickets, sponsorships, or learn more at https://give.debreastcancer.org/ge/lol2026.
