2008 Latino Heritage Month Opening Ceremony — An evening with Soledad O’Brien.

Diversity through my lens: Born to a Black Cuban mother and Irish-Australian father, Maria de la Soledad Teresa O’Brien is an anchor and speical correspondent for CNN: Special Investigations Unit where she reports on the most significant stories across the country and the world. She previously served as co-anchor of American Morning from 2003-2007. O’Brien is a graduate of Harvard, and a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and the National Association of Black Journalists.

The event will take place on Thursday, September 18, at Claymont Hall Auditorium, University of Delaware, 7:00 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
